I was just looking over my recently posted Charts from the last week or two . . .

nice call here it turns out:

more drifting higher for no reason . . . .

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all !!!!!!!!!!

Just UP all day . . kind of boring . . . and against my Bearish thoughts!

During this low-Volume Holiday time, I think the Big Money players have left town and let the public raise prices by Buying stocks . . . when they come back, I still think the way is Down .. at least some.

Nothing to Annotate as she just drifted higher without setting any indicators . . . the Techs certainly outdid the rest of the Market . . . the S&P-500 just barely made new highs at the end of the day while QQQQ was High & Strong all day.

Individual Investors Have Jumped Into Another Fire

A Strong Up day today . . . let’s look at the bigger picture of where these two are at now:

In today’s low-Volume, Holiday-week action .. QQQQ broke above the Top of the recent Range of the past 5- or 6- weeks. . . BUT, the Big question will be to watch for follow through tomorrow and the next day to see if QQQQ can continue higher or come back Down into the Range again:

There are No Economic Events out today  . . . BUT, it is Quadruple Witching Day . . Expirations galore!

I expect the Markets to stay in their recent Rectangle Range I’ve been Charting for you . . . without any big breakouts … probably a low-Volume drift higher with people Closing their positions as they go on Vacation.

I expect the Markets to stay in their recent Rectangle Range I’ve been Charting for you . . . without any big breakouts .. unless we get Big surprises from the News out today. . . when entering Trades, wait for pullbacks (Down or Up) in order to get onto a missed Trend .. don’t just jump on a sailing boat or a moving train .. let it come back to you some and pause .. looking for that Reversal Signal we teach about.

I expect the Markets to stay in their recent holding pattern without any big breakouts .. unless we get Big surprises from the News out today . . . I think the news might be used to bring Down QQQQ/SPY some before ramping them Up. Today will be the best day for an Up-side breakout.
